Outside Visits and Guests

There are many day trips throughout the year for children in all year groups with destinations that include: The Jorvic Viking Centre, Stratford upon Avon, Brewhouse Yard, Eureka!, Conkers, pastpupilvisit Tamworth Castle, Darley Park Outdoor Pursuits Centre and the Heights of Abraham, Derby County's Pride Park Football Stadium, Cadbury's World, Twycross Zoo and Shining Cliff. We run a residential trip for our Year 6 pupils as part of their transition year. Sports tours to play teams around the country have been organised and these links are consistantly being developed to provide exciting and challenging opportunities for the children to explore.

We are also privileged to welcome distinguished guests to the School to speak to and meet with the children. These inspirational people have often achieved excellence in a particular field and can pass on their knowledge and experiences. Visiting speakers present to the children throughout the school year.
