This morning we came together for assembly wearing green as part of Mental Health Awareness week to support the Mental Health Foundation. This was an initiative led by Year 3 pupil JP. We discussed ways too keep ourselves emotionally healthy, including spending time outdoors, surrounding ourselves with kind and respectful friends, giving back to our community, getting good quality sleep, eating healthily and having interests and hobbies. The children had lots of ideas!
We also reminded ourselves of who we can talk to when we are finding emotions difficult or uncomfortable.
