Parents are warmly welcome to join in with the Committee at any time during the school term and the committee is grateful for any offers of help however great or small!
Old Vicarage School Social Committee
The Old Vicarage School Social Committee plays a varied role in school life, organising a wide range of fun and successful fundraising activities throughout the year. Run entirely by our wonderful parent volunteers, the Social Committee works closely with the school to strengthen our sense of community and ensure everyone feels part of the OVS family. It’s also a fantastic way for new parents to make friends and connect with families across different year groups.
The Social Committee warmly welcomes any parent who would like to get involved – whether that’s helping to set up and run events, attending meetings to help decide which projects to fund, donating auction prizes, or sharing fresh ideas for future fundraising initiatives.
Fundraising Activities
There’s always an exciting fundraising event happening at OVS to bring the whole community together and create lasting memories.

- Quiz Nights (for adults)

The 1933 Club
The 1933 Club is a new initiative for 2025 to build a social alumni for past pupils, parents and families from the Old Vicarage School. We are always looking for volunteer parents who can spread the word on events and past pupil experiences that can be shared with our current school community. If you or anyone you know would like to be involved in hearing more about upcoming events, or would simply like to share your story please do get in touch with Mrs Sarah Grundy through the school office.
